Toni Storm To Defend Interim AEW Women’s Title

Following Dynamite in Toronto, it has emerged that there is a new challenger for Toni Storm’s Interim AEW Women’s World Championship.

AEW made their Canadian debut on October 12th with Dynamite emanating from the Coca-Cola Coliseum in Toronto with hometown star Renee Paquette making her debut for the company.

The night saw Orange Cassidy pick up his first championship in the company as he captured the All-Atlantic Championship from PAC. Chris Jericho successfully retained his Ring of Honor World Title against Bryan Danielson after Daniel Garcia re-affirmed his commitment to Jericho and turned his back on The American Dragon.

There was a big return on the show as well with Shawn Spears making his presence felt and the Canadian star will team with FTR on Rampage against The Embassy.

Interim AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm was in action as well as she teamed with former AEW Women’s Champion Hikaru Shida to defeat the team of Dr. Britt Baker DMD and Jamie Hayter. After the bout, it was announced that Shida will challenge Toni Storm for her title on the 18th of October edition of Dynamite.

That show in Cincinnati will be a huge night of title action as Hangman Adam Page will also challenge Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship.
