Toni Storm Reveals AEW Star’s “Transplant Surgery” After Shock Attack
Following a sickening attack by Mariah May, Luther has not been seen on AEW television and now Toni Storm has revealed why…sort of.
When Mariah May entered AEW she was instantly by the side of Toni Storm as she sought to emulate her hero. May snuggled in the AEW Women’s World Champion’s bosom on command as Storm reigned over the company’s women’s division in her own unique way.
Mariah May was part of the women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament with the winner of that competition getting a shot at Toni Storm’s title at All In. May made it to the final and faced off with Willow Nightingale on the 10th of July edition of Dynamite for The Owen.
In the end, Mariah May walked away with the win booking her place at Wembley Stadium in her native London, England and despite now having to face her, Toni Storm was the first to lead the celebrations for May.
As the two skipped up the ramp, May headed straight for her trophy and championship belt for winning the tournament and the fun officially ended as Mariah May drove the belt into Storm’s head.
May then whipped the AEW Women’s World Champion and nailed her butler Luther as well before throwing him off the stage through a table. Mariah May then watched for the shoe as she took Storm’s footwear and nailed her repeatedly in the head causing the blood to flow.
Luther has not been seen since on AEW TV and now Toni Storm might have shed light on exactly why.
Toni Storm Gives Vague Details On Luther’s Recovery
Speaking during a virtual signing with Highspots Superstore, Toni Storm noted that Luther underwent some sort of “transplant surgery” following May’s attack and that she was raising money for him although she didn’t really know what was wrong with him:
All this money is going to be contributed towards my butler, Luther, who is currently going through some kind of transplant surgery following his terrible fall off the stage some time ago. I haven’t checked on him in a long time, but this is all for him. I
‘ve heard it was an awful, terrible transplant surgery that Luther’s had to go through. He’s really been going through it. I don’t know what kind of transplant it is. It could really be anything.
Storm went on to note that she hadn’t thought to ask exactly what kind of surgery Luther had undergone but no doubt she will be hoping he can resume his butler duties as soon as possible.
