Top TNA Star Backstage At WWE Money In The Bank
Former TNA World Champion Josh Alexander was backstage at WWE Money In The Bank.
PW Insider reported that the Canadian star was backstage at the Premium Live Event with wife Jade Chung, who serves as a ring announcer for TNA.
‘The Walking Weapon’ has held the company’s World Championship on two occasions with his second reign lasting 335 days, which remains a record.
WWE and TNA have showcased a strong working relationship this year, with TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace making multiple appearances on WWE television whilst the likes of NXT Superstar Charlie Dempsey have featured in a TNA ring.
37 year-old Alexander has not yet made a crossover appearance but could feature on 7th July when NXT Heatwave emanates from Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena.
TNA Slammiversary Takes Shape
Josh Alexander will, however, feature in a 6-way elimination bout for the TNA World Championship at Slammiversary on 20th July.
Moose will put his title on the line against Alexander, Nic Nemeth, Steve Maclin, Frankie Kazarian and Joe Hendry at Montreal’s Verdun Auditorium.
Hendry became the latest man to qualify for the bout after defeating Jake Something on the 4th July edition of TNA Impact.
