Titus O’Neil has made it clear that he really isn’t embarrassed by the funny moment that happened to him during the Greatest Royal Rumble.

The WWE career of Titus O’Neil started in 2009 when he signed a contract with the company and he’s been there ever since. In 2010, he was a regular on TV on the NXT brand, which would lead to the formation of the Prime Time Players tag team with Darren Young.

O’Neil and Young would go on to win the WWE Tag Team Titles together although they were broken up before they probably should have been. Titus Worldwide was next with Titus, Apollo Crews and Dana Brooke, which really didn’t go anywhere.

At the 2018 Greatest Royal Rumble event in Saudi Arabia with 50 participants in the match, Titus O’Neil entered as #39 in the match. When he ran down to the ring, he slipped and slid under the ring! Amazingly, he didn’t hit the steel beam that’s under the ring. Titus got right back up and competed in the match while WWE replayed the gaffe repeatedly because it was an unplanned funny moment. Braun Strowman would go on to win the match.

These days, O’Neil is no longer active in the ring although he is a big man that’s in great shape and does a lot of work for WWE as a Global Ambassador. In 2021, O’Neil received the Warrior Award at the WWE Hall of Fame for his incredible charity work. Titus has The Bullard Family Foundation, which is an organization that provides families and children in need with special moments, programs, and resources to help build character, develop relationships, and strengthen communities around them.

In an interview with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, O’Neil made it clear that he isn’t really embarrassed by his famous slide under the ring.

“No, I’m not. It’s one of those things that, in life, much like in a lot of stuff that happened in my life, I tell people all the time, I fell down and gotten back up so many times. I’m still alive and well to tell the story, and I’m an entertainer at the end of the day. So, I don’t really have anything to be embarrassed about.”

As he continued, O’Neil talked about everything he has done since including winning the Warrior Award at the WWE Hall of Fame and his current role as a WWE Global Ambassador.

“Got paid a lot of money to fall under the ring and survive. So, I’ve survived and now I’m in the WWE Hall of Fame as a Warrior Award recipient and a WWE Global Ambassador. For all those that wanna laugh, I’m still proud to be a WWE superstar and proud to be able to have this platform to do so many great things.”
