Three Title Matches Announced For WWE Clash of Champions; Note on US Champion
WWE Clash of Champions will be the first Raw-exclusive WWE Network special since the WWE Draft this past July. Similar to Night of Champions, it is likely that this will be a night where every Raw championship is defended. I believe championship belts should be defended on every WWE Network special unless injury permits this, but that’s a discussion for another time.
Last night’s edition of Monday Night Raw announced three championship matches for Clash of Champions. With the event under three weeks away, the current lineup for Clash of Champions is as follows.
Please note that (c) refers to the champion/s heading into the match.
WWE Universal Championship: Kevin Owens (c) vs. Seth Rollins – Roman Reigns will take on Kevin Owens in a one-on-one match during next week’s Raw. If Reigns wins, he will be added to the title picture, making this a triple threat match for the Universal Championship.
Raw Women’s Championship: Charlotte (c) vs. Sasha Banks
Raw Tag Team Championship: The New Day (c) vs. Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson
The United States Champion Rusev missed Raw this week because of his recent wedding (the second one) in Bulgaria last week. On Twitter, he posted that he and his wife Lana are on a 23 day honeymoon.

That would mean he’s likely going to miss Clash of Champions unless he’s lying about how long the honeymoon is.
Of course, more matches will be announced in the coming weeks. Clash of Champions will take place on Sunday, September 25 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.
