The Young Bucks – Matt & Nick Jackson – have made it clear that they have no interest in talking about the All Out fight from September 2022.

AEW All Out 2022 was a night when The Young Bucks teamed with Kenny Omega as The Elite to become the inaugural AEW Trios Tag Team Titles. Hours later, they got into a backstage fight.

CM Punk, who had won the AEW World Title at All Out in his hometown of Chicago, went on a rant during a post-All Out press conference where he complained about a bunch of things including Colt Cabana, “Hangman” Adam Page, and Executive Vice Presidents in AEW, which The Young Bucks are with Omega. That led to Matt, Nick and Kenny going into Punk’s locker room for a confrontation that led to a fight with Punk and his friend/former AEW producer Ace Steel.

The fight led to Nick Jackson getting a black eye, Kenny Omega had his arm bitten by Steel and there were suspensions for the EVPs for just under two months. Steel was fired for his actions in the fight. Punk tore his triceps in the All Out 2022 match, so while he was likely suspended, he couldn’t compete in the ring anyway.

On the premiere episode of AEW All Access that aired on TBS after this week’s AEW Dynamite, The Young Bucks made it clear that they don’t want to talk about their All Out fight.

Matt: “It felt really weird watching from home because you worked so hard to get to where you were to build your brand up, to be where it’s at, and then all of a sudden, it’s all just gone down.”

Nick: “What happened is definitely going to be a black eye on our career, probably forever. And we don’t want to talk about it.”

Matt: “When we had to vacate the titles, it greatly affected my mental health. You’ve worked so hard for so long to build up your brand, to be something. I hope that we can continue to build our legacy, but I don’t know if our career will ever the same.”

Currently, The Young Bucks are off AEW television because Matt Jackson has a partially torn biceps. They were written out via a mystery attack on AEW Dynamite last week. It is currently unknown when we’ll see The Young Bucks on AEW TV again.
