The Von Erichs To Appear On AEW

The Von Erich family is heading to AEW Dynamite.

It’s been announced that Kevin, Ross, and Marshall Von Erich will appear on the December 13th episode of AEW Dynamite in Arlington, Texas. The appearances are to tie in with the United States theatrical release of The Iron Claw.

The movie is based on the lives and careers of Fitz Von Erich and his sons Kevin, Kerry, David, and Mike, and the ‘Von Erich curse.’

Marshall and Ross Van Erich have been wrestling together since 2012 appearing in several promotions such as MLW and IMPACT Wrestling.

Von Erich Movie Makes Approached WWE

Back in November, Triple H revealed that the makers of The Iron Claw approached WWE about a promotional deal. The Game didn’t appear to be against the idea of some cross-promotion, although he admitted that the timing of the offer made it impossible given WWE’s particularly frantic schedule during this period.

“We did not. They came to us recently, looking to do some promotion with us, and they were trying to screen it for us a few weeks ago and we had an international tour going on and a PLE in Saudi, we couldn’t make it work. I’m excited to see it. I’ve heard it’s very good.”

AEW star MJF is listed as an Executive Producer on the movie.
