The Usos To Officially Become Longest-Reigning WWE Tag Team Champions

The Usos

The Usos are officially (soon) the longest-reigning Tag Team Champions in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) history.

On the November 11, 2022 episode of WWE Friday Night Smackdown, The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) faced off against The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) in a WWE Tag Team Championship match, getting the victory to rain their titles. But the win also came along with a history-making accomplishment for Jimmy and Jey as well: They’re set to break the record for the longest WWE Tag Team Championship reign in company history.

In total now, The Usos have held the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship for 481 days, originally winning the championship at WWE’s Money in the Bank Premium Live Event back in 2021. They will officially break the record on Monday, November 14, 2022.

The Usos are still fresh off of another Tag Team Championship victory as well, retaining the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship at Crown Jewel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia against the Brawling Brutes (Butch and Ridge Holland). Also at the Crown Jewel Premium Live Event, The Usos would help their Bloodline “Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns retain his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship Logan Paul, dealing with Logan’s brother Jake Paul in the process in a battle of families.

Reigns posted this celebratory photo with his cousins following their big win.
