The Undertaker Says He’d Only Return To Face This One WWE Star
The Undertaker retired from professional wrestling in 2020.
In his last match, he faced AJ Styles in a Boneyard Match at WrestleMania 36, receiving immense praise for its uniqueness and storytelling.
Since then, he has made sporadic appearances and was also seen during the 2025 SummerSlam PLE in the Gorilla Position.
His last in-ring, non-wrestling appearance was on the July 22 episode of WWE NXT, where he confronted TNA Champion Trick Williams, before chokeslamming him.
The Undertaker also hosts a podcast called Six Feet Under, of which former World Heavyweight Champion Gunther was the most recent guest.
During the chat, the conversation moved towards fantasy booking. The 60-year-old admitted that he would be open to a WrestleMania showdown with The Ring General.
If I had anything left in the tank, you’re the one guy that I would consider coming out of retirement to work with.
Being his cheeky self, Gunther stated he wouldn’t mind using a few chops before deciding to stop, which led to both men sharing a laugh.
Cody Rhodes Reveals The Undertaker In The Current Locker Room
Like The Undertaker, the current Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, too, has his podcast, What Do You Wanna Talk About?
His guest on the latest episode was Grammy-nominated artist Jelly Roll, who had his first outing in a wrestling match at SummerSlam.
Unfortunately for Jelly, he and his tag team partner, Randy Orton, lost to the duo of Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre.
During their chat, Rhodes revealed who The Undertaker of the current locker room was.
I like the idea that you’re talking about Randy Orton, who is currently kind of, I don’t think Undertaker would dislike this, but he really has become The Undertaker of this locker room.
Cody Rhodes became the two-time world champion at SummerSlam by defeating John Cena in the main event.
