The Undertaker Wins Brand New WWE Championship
The Undertaker might have retired from the ring several years ago, but he’s somehow still won WWE’s latest championship.
The Undertaker had his final bout in WWE at WrestleMania 36 when he defeated AJ Styles in a Boneyard Match. The cinematic bout headlined night one of that year’s showcase of the immortals, which was held in front of no fans due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Despite hanging up his boots, The Undertaker has continued to loom large in WWE and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2022.
The Deadman joined some fellow legends of the business as a coach on season one of WWE LFG, where the aim of the game was to unearth brand new talents that could be “future greats” in the company.
The Undertaker Gets WWE LFG Title
The season one finale of that show aired on May 18 and featured Tyra Mae Steele and Zena Sterling as the women’s finalists with Jasper Troy and Shiloh Hill as the men’s finalists. Sterling represented Team Bubba Ray Dudley, while Troy represented Team Booker T. Mickie James missed out on having a finalist while Team Undertaker boasted both Steele and Hill.
Due to him having more finalists than the other coaches, The Undertaker was crowned the inaugural WWE LFG Champion and presented with a new title belt.
