The Undertaker Reveals Which WWE Hall Of Famer Complained He Injured Them
The Undertaker shared a revealing anecdote about a heated exchange with fellow WWE Hall of Famer Koko B. Ware following the delivery of his first Tombstone Piledriver during the 1990 Survivor Series event.
Reflecting on his debut at Survivor Series 1990 during an episode of Six Feet Under With Mark Calaway, The Undertaker highlighted the carefully crafted nature of the match, designed to showcase his abilities and elevate his persona. Notably, the match featured Undertaker executing his inaugural Tombstone Piledriver on Koko B. Ware, marking a pivotal moment for both wrestlers.
However, the aftermath of the match took an unexpected turn as Koko confronted Undertaker in the hallway, expressing dissatisfaction and stressing the importance of protecting fellow wrestlers during high-impact manoeuvres. Undertaker, expressing genuine remorse, reiterated his commitment to the safety of his co-performers.
I give him the Tombstone 1-2-3, and he’s out, we finish the match and I get backstage and Koko gets me in the hallway and he’s giving me the riot act like ‘Man if somebody gives you their body you gotta be able to protect them, you hurt my neck.’ And I’m like ‘Koko if I hurt you I’m sorry, I really pride myself on being safe and taking care of the guys I’m working with.’
As the conversation escalated, Undertaker offered to settle the matter outside the arena.
He kept going he was p**sed. It got to the point where I had apologised for as long as I could apologise for and that’s when I said ‘Koko, I’ve apologised to you as much as I know how to do. If you’re not gonna accept that maybe we need to go out in the [parking] lot and figure this out [to fight].’
Despite Undertaker’s attempt to reconcile, Koko persisted in emphasising the need for greater caution. However, despite Undertaker’s offer the incident ended without the two coming to blows.
