The Undertaker opens up about rumors using his influence for Michelle McCool
A&E series WWE LFG season one was a huge success. It has been renewed for a second season, but this time Michelle McCool is replacing Mickie James as coach. She will work alongside Bully Ray, Booker T, and The Undertaker.
McCool replacing James sparked speculations that The Phenom used his influence to ensure his wife was on season two of the show. During an interview with SHAK Wrestling, he opened up about the accusations.
He joked about using his influence, but finally revealed that McCool was offered season one but they couldn’t work together because of the kids. However, they worked on a schedule to figure out how McCool can do the second season alongside The Undertaker.
Yes, I got Mickie [James] fired so I could bring her [Michelle McCool] in. And since we’re already down the lane, because I would never address it any other place, but you get the scoop. It was like, when I was presented the opportunity to be a coach, she was presented the opportunity at the same time. We couldn’t do it together because of our kids. It was too much, and that’s why she had the few spots on season one [of WWE LFG].
We were trying to figure out schedules and what it would be like. If she was [sic] to do season two, we get it worked out.
It will be interesting to see McCool and The Undertaker working together on the second season of the show.
