The Street Profits Interrupt SmackDown Match With New Look

During a match on WWE Smackdown, The Street Profits showed off a new look and a more aggressive attitude.

The former WWE Raw & Smackdown Tag Team Champions The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) made their presence felt on Smackdown last night.

There was a tag team match between The OC’s Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson and The Brawling Brutes duo of Butch & Ridge Holland. After about eight minutes of action, The Street Profits hit the ring and decimated both teams. The match was a No Contest with no clear winner.

After the bell rang to end the match, Ford & Dawkins rammed Gallows shoulder-first into the ring post. Dawkins hit a huge spinebuster on Anderson. Ford delivered a jumping kick on Holland. Dawkins did a double underhook suplex on Holland. Also, Dawkins did a Pounce on Butch leading to Ford catching Butch and hitting him with a suplex.

The Street Profits (with Dawkins in a tie) stood tall as the fans cheered for them.

The Street Profits Have A New Look

What was interesting about the whole thing is that instead of dressing in athletic gear like we had seen from them for years, The Street Profits were dressed in nice clothes. Angelo Dawkins was even wearing a suit, which caught Smackdown announcer Michael Cole by surprise.

After they were done with their attack, former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley joined The Street Profits by the entrance area. Lashley was dressed sharply as well. That trio had been featured in segments together over the last month as it looks like Lashley has been forming a new version of The Hurt Business group, but they were not called that on television.

While their actions could be considered heelish, the fans cheered the Ford & Dawkins attack. They also cheered when they saw Lashley and did some “Bobby” chants as well.

We don’t know yet if the new look Street Profits will be faces or heels, but clearly, they are going to make a big impact on Smackdown with Bobby Lashley by their side.
