The Rock’s Bizarre Bathroom Habits On Film Sets Revealed
Some bizarre details about working with The Rock have been revealed.
A new report has painted a not-very-flattering picture of working with The Rock. According to The Wrap, the WWE legend was often up to eight hours late while filming his new movie Red One. This is said to have incurred extra costs of up to $50 million as well as frustrating those around him.
The report also claims The Rock won’t use public bathrooms while filming, instead choosing to use a water bottle.
“Insiders told TheWrap that Johnson showed up as much as eight hours late to set on the movie — forcing the crew to shoot around him on some days. On previous films, Johnson has made a habit of peeing in a water bottle to save time, upsetting crew members.
“On set, away from his trailer, if he needs to pee, he doesn’t go to the public bathroom,” one insider who knows the movie star well said. “He pees in a Voss water bottle and his team or a PA has to dispose of it.”
A spokesperson for Amazon MGM denied the claims outlined by The Wrap.
WWE Defends The Rock
The report also claimed The Rock was three hours late for his WrestleMania 40 main event.
However, WWE’s executive vice president for Talent Relations and Head of Communications, Chris Legentil, was quick to dismiss the comments. In a short statement, Legentil said The Rock was a “pleasure to work with” during his WWE run and was actually early for WrestleMania in order to help with rehearsal.
The Rock was late for an appearance at WWE World during WrestleMania weekend, but the company put this down to traffic problems and other WWE-related commitments.
