The Rock Welcomes Becky Lynch To Young Rock
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has officially welcomed Becky Lynch to Young Rock and given the world a first look at her as rock icon Cyndi Lauper.
Set to be billed under her real name of Rebecca Quinn, Pro Wrestling Insider reported that ‘The Man’ is set to play Cyndi Lauper in season three of Young Rock. Lauper was part of the rock’n’wrestling boom of the 1980s and was ringside as Wendi Richter defeated The Fabulous Moolah for the WWE Women’s Championship in 1984 at Madison Square Garden.
The report also went on to note that Lauper was considered to be a recurring character for the series, meaning Becky Lynch may well be involved in more than just one episode.
Taking to social media, The Rock officially welcomed Becky Lynch to the show and provided some photos of the former Raw Women’s Champion portraying Lauper:
