The Rock To Make WWE Return And Reveal His “Chosen One”?

The Rock at the WWE Hall of Fame

Some believe that The Rock’s return to WWE is imminent.

The Brahma Bull, though, is in no hurry to return to the squared circle in any capacity, considering he is very much focused on his Hollywood career at the moment.

He was last seen at the Elimination Chamber PLE, when John Cena shockingly turned heel and aligned himself with The Final Boss.

The Rock was a highly anticipated attraction at WrestleMania 41, but fans were left disappointed due to his no-show.

With Cena’s final appearances to culminate in the next two months, speculations about the 53-year-old returning to WWE have gained traction.

During the latest Notsam Wrestling podcast, WWE personality Sam Roberts was asked about the possibility of his returning and revealing Drew McIntyre as his “Chosen One.”

I would love for The Final Boss to return and announce that he has a ‘chosen one.’ I would love to see The Final Boss again, put a bow on all of this, and that is a way that he could even do it in Cena’s last match…that The Rock comes back, announces he has a chosen one, and his chosen one is the same guy who was called the chosen one when he first showed up in WWE…I would like to see The Rock’s chosen one be Drew McIntyre. The Rock Vs. John Cena Doesn’t Need Storyline

The Rock and John Cena have previously competed in two matches, with each getting one win over the other.

Both matches occurred at WrestleMania one year apart at the 28th and 29th editions.

If the two superstars agree to close their feud with a final match, a WWE legend believes that their rivalry does not need an extensive storyline.

During a recent episode of the Kliq This podcast, Kevin Nash said that The People’s Champ needs to only make a statement.

It doesn’t take much to put a package together if Cena having two two matches left and Rock saying, “Well, I’m one of them.”
