The Rock Stepped Up To Help WWE Star

The Rock WWE Raw

The Rock put his all into helping a popular WWE star.

Back in March, Natalya announced the release of her new memoir. The book, which features a foreword from The Rock, will hit shelves on October 28.

In an interview at the time, the star explained that she began working on the book in earnest after signing her latest WWE contract in July 2024. She added that putting the book together has been an exciting process, even if she’s scared to give fans a true insight into some of the more private areas of her life.

During a new interview with Sean Ross Sapp, Natalya explained how The Rock ended up writing the foreword for the book.

“Dwayne is amazing. Dwayne is somebody that really shows up for people that are important to him in his life. I basically walked up to him at the Netflix launch in January.

I walked up to him, and he was at the Netflix launch, and I just said, ‘Hey, I’m working on this book. I would love for you to do the foreword,’ and he said, ‘Absolutely.’ He just said yes, right then and there and then not only did he say yes, but he researched the foreword for me.”

The Rock Went Above And Beyond

While working on the foreword for the book, The Rock was also filming the Smashing Machine, so as usual, he had a lot on his plate. Despite this, Natalya revealed that he reached out to her about her book as he wanted to write something particularly meaningful.

“He reached out to me and said, ‘Hey, I got some questions for you because I’m gonna write this and I wanna write this in a very special way.’ He sent me this beautiful message about, he’s like, ‘What does legacy mean to you?’ and so Dwayne ended up helping me with the very ending of my book. The very last page of my book was because of the conversation that I had with Dwayne about, ‘What does legacy mean to you?’

So he worked really hard on the foreword and worked on it personally, and then got it right to me. I’ll never forget because, think about it, he was filming the Smashing Machine. He was filming a movie where he had to be the most vulnerable that he’s ever been in his entire life, and I was working on my book, and this book is the most vulnerable I’ve ever been in my life.

He stepped up for me and showed up for me in a way that I’ll always be just so grateful.”

Meanwhile, Jelly Roll has also heaped praise on The Rock after the WWE legend offered to help him prepare for his in-ring debut. The music star said that he only mentioned to The Rock that he was thinking about wrestling, and The Great One immediately went to work on trying to help.
