Why The Rock Must Return To Face This Massive WWE Star
The Rock hasn’t been around WWE since Elimination Chamber, and it has sparked questions about whether he is having backstage issues with Triple H and the creative team.
The Final Boss was present when John Cena turned heel on Cody Rhodes, and supposedly, The Champ sold his soul to The Rock. However, that was the last fans saw The Brahma Bull.
Since then, Cena has buried The Rock, turned babyface, and even lost the Undisputed WWE Championship. The angle between Rock and Cena did not seem to work out at all.
The Rock needs to return to WWE for a final bout
WrestleMania 41 and SummerSlam 2025 were the two events where The Rock was expected to show up, but he did not. It was attributed to his busy Hollywood schedule, but the focus soon shifted to possible backstage issues.
While speaking on Straight Talk with The Boss, Dominic DeAngelo and Magnum TA discussed who should be John Cena’s final match. They collectively decided on The Rock, if it were up to them. However, chances are The Final Boss will not be the one.
“I’d like to see him work for The Rock”, said Magnum TA.
“Yeah, he would be good. I don’t think they’re going to get him, though”, agreed DeAngelo.
“I don’t think they are either, but I mean, that’s you know, just because of the goofy little angle they did, and you know I’m going to take Cody’s soul, and you kno,w and all this stuff that would, it would be good, but you know, I don’t know.
I mean, they’ll obviously get somebody that’s available. There’s lots of, I mean there’s tons of folks, but if I had my, you know, my make-a-wish list, he’d be on top”, added Magnum TA.
Currently, John Cena is booked against Logan Paul for Clash in Paris.
