The Rock Concert To Return

The Rock is bringing back another fan favourite.

After some creative stumbling around the road to WrestleMania, Cody Rhodes is set to face Roman Reigns at the spectacular and The Rock has joined forces with The Bloodline. To add extra spice The Great One has challenged Rhodes and Seth Rollins to a tag team match on night one.

By aligning with The Bloodline, Rock turned heel for the first time in two decades and even slapped Rhodes in the face at the WrestleMania kick-off event.

In recent weeks the veteran has leaned into an updated version of his “Hollywood Rock” persona from 2003, and according to a new report from Wrestle Votes that could continue.

“According to sources, the much-anticipated return of ‘The Rock Concert’ could light up next week’s SmackDown, live from Memphis, TN. I’m told this idea has been brewing for weeks, with a possible announcement of it tonight on SD.”

The Rock To Wrestle Multiple Times In 2024

Interestingly, it’s been reported that The Rock’s match at WrestleMania won’t be his only in-ring outing of the year. According to the report, although nothing is set in stone, the Hollywood megastar will wrestle again following WrestleMania. There’s also a push within WWE for him to compete at one of the company’s events in Saudi Arabia.

WWE returns to Saudi Arabia on May 25th.
