The Rock Claims He And Roman Reigns Would Main Event Greatest WrestleMania Of All Time

The Rock with Roman Reigns

The Rock is confident that if he took on Roman Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania, it would be the biggest of all time.

On the first Raw of 2024, The Rock made his shock comeback to WWE and immediately sent the rumour mill into overdrive when he mentioned that it could be time from him to sit “at the head of the table.”

During an appearance on ESPN’s First Take, The Great One commented on the possibility of a dream match with Reigns finally happening, saying if it did, it would lead to the greatest ever WrestleMania.

“I’m a long gamer. I like to build. Something like this, what this is. If, myself and Roman Reigns, were to main event WrestleMania, and I mean this very respectfully of all the WrestleManias prior because I grew up in this business and I love it. We could possibly put on, with us as the main event and this incredible group of men and women, we could possibly put on the greatest and biggest WrestleMania of all time.”

Going on, while not committing to the bout at WrestleMania 40, The People’s Champ confirmed it was a possibility.

“There’s a chance. I love this business. I love pro wrestling. I love WWE. I also have this deep passion to grow it and build it. If we’re going to do something like this, I want the world to watch.”

The Rock Joins TKO Board

Endeavor completed it’s purchase of WWE back in September 2023, merging the promotion with UFC to form TKO Group. The new company’s Board is led by former WWE owner Vince McMahon, and now it has been announced that another face familiar to wrestling fans will join him at the table.

On January 23rd, TKO announced that The Rock is now a member of its Board of Directors, effective immediately. McMahon commented on his new colleague, praising his understanding of the business and promising the star would help take TKO to new heights.
