The One Role Sting Has No Interest In After AEW Swan Song

Sting AEW

Sting brought the curtain down on his iconic career at AEW Revolution but it seems like he could still be involved in the company but says there’s one job he won’t do.

Sting ended his in-ring career in spectacular fashion at Revolution as he teamed with Darby Allin one last time to defend the AEW Tag Team Championship against The Young Bucks.

After the show went off the air Sting addressed the fans in Greensboro as he received an emotional send-off from the entire AEW roster.

Sting Not Ruling Out Future With AEW

Speaking at the AEW Revolution media scrum, however, it seems Sting could have some role with AEW in the future although he made clear the ones that he has no interest in:

Tony has mentioned me staying on board in some form or fashion. We haven’t really worked anything out there yet, but I’m sure we’ll have some kind of conversation and I’m saying maybe, we’ll see what happens.

I have no interest in being a manager or anything like that or an agent. I don’t want to do any of that kind of stuff. I’m not sure what I can offer.

The AEW Tag Team Championship was vacated after Revolution and Sting’s partner Darby Allin now has a big business to care of as he returns to the singles ranks in AEW.
