The Most Truthful Thing Hulk Hogan’s Ever Said

Hulk Hogan WWE

According to a WWE Hall of Famer, Hulk Hogan told the truth at least once in his career.

Hulk Hogan has long been known for exaggerating the truth about his life, if not fabricating events entirely. Most recently, Hogan’s longstanding myth about almost being the face of the George Foreman Grill has been debunked.

However, one of the men who seems to hate him the most says that Hogan is truthful about one thing: that Bret Hart thinks of himself as the greatest wrestler of all time.

During an interview back in 2023, Hulk Hogan discussed why Bret Hart hates him when he commented that Hart thinks he sabotaged his career by refusing to lose the WWE Championship to him at King of the Ring 1993.

“Bret Hart, who thought I basically sabotaged his career because Bret thought he should have been the greatest wrestler that ever lived. He said it was my fault.”

On a recent edition of The Ariel Helwani Show, Hart admitted that he does think of himself that way, adding that it “might be the most truthful thing” Hogan’s ever said.

“I heard something a few months ago where Hulk Hogan was talking about me. He said, ‘The problem with Bret Hart is he really does think he was the greatest wrestler of all time.’ I remember thinking and going, ‘Yeah. Maybe.’ That might be the most truthful thing he’s ever said.”

Hulk Hogan Claims He Taught Vince McMahon Everything About Wrestling

In another of his infamous exaggerations, Hulk Hogan claimed he taught Vince McMahon about the wrestling business and making money. Hogan says he moved in next door to McMahon in Connecticut soon after he bought the then-WWF from his father in 1982, and that’s where his education began.
