The Miz Names Two Heels As The Future Of WWE

The Miz WrestleMania

The Miz knows what it takes to be a top guy in WWE.

Having spent over two decades with the Stamford promotion, Miz has seen different wrestlers become the face of the brand. He has himself served as a top heel for the majority of his stay, and continues to do so.

The 45-year-old is now in a position where he can name the future of the company, and just as he did, he was all praise for two young stars currently serving as heels.

While speaking recently on Kittle Things, The Miz named Dominik Mysterio and Bron Breakker as the future of WWE.

I think those two are going to set the standard for what its is to be a main event WWE superstar.

Dom because he has that instant heat. He walks out there he gets booed, he puts a microphone to his mouth, nobody wants to hear him, they boo so loudly.

I always like the bad guys, Dom has been able to be trained (in) live event matches where he’s been able to get in the ring with people that I feel like he’s made to get in the ring with and you’ve seen the proof in the pudding. [H/T: WrestleTalk.com]

The Miz, meanwhile, is involved in a feud with his former mentee, Carmelo Hayes, on SmackDown.

The Miz Addresses His WWE Exit Rumors

The Miz does not get as much TV time as he used to, with WWE storylines majorly written around other stars.

So, it is obvious that fans began speculating about his status within the company, with some even kick-starting rumors about him potentially looking to exit the promotion.

The two-time Grand Slam champion addressed the reports by revealing that his relationship with WWE had never been better and they are progressing swimmingly.

I haven’t changed that in like five years. I haven’t unfollowed WWE at all. WWE and I are in very good standings. Like, we just dropped ‘Miz Golf,’ which part of WWE’s YouTube.
