The Miz Thought He “Messed The Whole Main Event Of WrestleMania”

The Miz vs. John Cena, WrestleMania 27

Despite what should be one of the most memorable nights of his career, The Miz felt the need to apologize after a WrestleMania main event experience.

It was when WrestleMania 27 took place in Atlanta that The Miz entered as WWE Champion, and would go on to successfully defend the gold against John Cena. However, the night certainly didn’t go to plan for the superstar.

In a discussion on Unbreakable, The Miz admitted that he doesn’t completely remember the night due to the concussion he sustained during the match.

That’s one of the most memorable moments I’ve ever had. Unfortunately, I don’t actually remember it. The one moment you want to remember for the rest of your life is the one moment I have bits and pieces that I remember, but I don’t remember if that makes any sense at all.

“Everything Was Just Foggy”

Continuing on, The Miz commented on thinking he’d messed the whole match up despite being told he hadn’t, and started feeling the effects of what had happened the following day.

I imagined I messed the whole main event of WrestleMania up. Luckily I didn’t, and it came off like perfectly, and not many people knew what was going on except for the professionals that were in there..

I remember going back, talking with my wife, Maryse, and she’s just like, ‘You did great, you did great.’ But, I was like not necessarily depressed, but God I remember the next day, everything was just foggy.

The Miz also recently discussed how he could lose every match in WWE and it really wouldn’t matter.
