The Current WWE Stars Who Impress Goldberg
Goldberg has a list of current WWE Superstars who impress him.
Goldberg has been away from the WWE ring for quite some time now. While the star hasn’t wrestled since 2022, he has kept track of today’s stars and shares names of those who have impressed him.
Goldberg wrestled his last match in WWE in February 2022. He clashed with Roman Reigns at the Elimination Chamber PLE in Saudi Arabia. The former World Heavyweight Champion came up short against The Tribal Chief at the time. Now, rumors are rampant about Goldberg’s return to the Squared Circle.
While still away from wrestling, Goldberg was on the Claw Podcast. During his conversation with Ross and Marshall Von Erich on the show, the former WCW star spoke about the current product and listed his favorite stars on today’s roster.
“I’ll be honest, I don’t watch much of it. I can’t really give an educated guess there. I think one guy who’s really doing well… what’s his name… married to Becky Lynch… (‘Seth Rollins?’) – Seth, yeah. Seth’s grown so much in this business over the past 10 years. Randy Orton’s obviously Randy frickin’ Orton. The lineage speaks for itself. Cody Rhodes, he’s done unbelievable in the past. Logan Paul, to be able to come in and not be someone from the business and to be able to pick it up so quickly and to be innovative a the same time. I was new, I was from the outside, so I get it. Steiner’s kid (Bron Breakker), frickin’ doing unbelievable. We talk a lot. I talk to him more than any other current wrestlers for sure. He’s just a great kid, we’re friends.” [H/T WrestleTalk]
Goldberg Has Big Plans For His Retirement Match
Goldberg appeared on the Bad Blood PLE and had an altercation with Gunther, stirring rumors about another match for him in the WWE. Many have spoken about the match, and if rumors are true, the 58-year-old may be a part of Saturday Night’s Main Event next month.
While on the podcast, Goldberg spoke about his retirement match and what plans he has. The WWE Legend gave the fans a little tease by stating that he will be led to the ring by his son.
