The Hardy Boyz want to get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Matt and Jeff Hardy first gained massive fame in WWE during the late 1990s and early 2000s, winning multiple Tag Team Championships. Their runs showcased iconic moments like ladder matches, TLC bouts, and memorable rivalries with teams like The Dudley Boyz and Edge & Christian, cementing their legacy as one of the greatest tag teams ever.

The Hardys are currently signed to TNA. But through a working partnership with the Stamford-based company, they’ve made a few appearances in WWE. Very recently, they lost the NXT Tag Team Championship to DarkState at NXT Halloween Havoc on October 25.

Matt and Jeff Hardy have been very open about wanting a last WWE run before they hang up their boots for good. Speaking on the latest episode of The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, Matt revealed that he and his brother are also eyeing a spot in the prestigious Hall of Fame class in the Stamford-based company.

“I think we would like to do something proper to wind things down. And we’ve said this a couple of times in WWE, and then maybe off into the sunset and do the Hall of Fame. I would want to do the TNA and the WWE Hall of Fame, and I think Jeff would as well.”

WWE Legend Matt Hardy Wanted To Quit Wrestling After His AEW RUN

Speaking on the same podcast episode, Matt Hardy talked about his underwhelming run in AEW and disclosed that he came very close to retiring from wrestling during his last days in Tony Khan’s promotion. But he got his spark back once he returned to TNA.

“During those times in AEW, there were times where both myself and Jeff, especially me when I was there and I wasn’t really do anything, it just made me question, why am I still doing this? I love this, but it kind of doesn’t feel like something I love right now.”

“Ultimately, what we needed to do was leave and go to TNA, and then we found that again. And I am as much in love with the business as I have ever been this year.”
