Swerve Strickland Dismisses Jim Cornette’s AEW Criticism
Swerve Strickland is unmoved by Jim Cornette’s latest tirade.
At AEW Full Gear, Strickland took on Hangman Adam Page in one of the most talked about matches of the year. The Texas Death Match quickly devolved into a stunningly bloody spectacle featuring a staple gun, barbed wire, and a whole host of weaponry. One spot in particular split fans on social media, with Hangman even drinking Strickland’s blood after a particularly brutal assault.
Unsurprisingly, Jim Cornette was a fan of the match, branding the action “stupid.”
Posting on social media in response, Strickland suggested all publicity is good publicity.
It’s like telling kids there’s a new insane horror movie out, don’t go see it! What’s the first thing they gonna do 😉
