Surprising AEW Star Moves To New Role

AEW Tony Khan

It seems like one AEW star’s days in the ring might be over as the company has moved them to a new role.

One AEW star might not be stepping foot in the ring again which will come as a relief to the rest of the roster as Satnam Singh has seen his role change according to the company’s own website.

Singh has been part of Jeff Jarrett’s gang of rogues which includes Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt, and Karen Jarrett since joining AEW and has competed in the company 24 times over the last two years. His last outing in an AEW ring was on the 14th of June edition of Rampage where he defeated Rosario Grillo in 20 seconds.

The giant star has also been competing in AAA where he was recently part of Triplemania XXXII: Tijuana where he teamed with Parker Boudreaux, QT Marshall, and Sam Adonis to defeat Los Psycho Circus, 57-year-old Vampiro, and former WWE Champion Alberto El Patron.

Satnam Singh Now Part Of AEW’s Broadcast Team

Now, AEW has taken Satnam Singh off the active roster on the company’s website indicating that he might not have an in-ring role going forward in Tony Khan’s promotion.

However, the good news for fans of Singh is that he is not gone entirely and has instead been moved to the ‘Broadcast Team’ section complete with a new render of him in a suit rather than ring gear. It remains to be seen what his new role will involve.

Singh’s colleague in the AEW broadcast team Jim Ross has recently given his thoughts on the possibility of AEW working with WWE.
