Surprising Names In Frame To Face Adam Page For AEW World Title At Full Gear

Three AEW stars have their sights set on “Hangman” Adam Page.

After winning the World Championship from Jon Moxley at All In Texas, Adam Page quickly beat Moxley in a rematch before dispatching MJF at Forbidden Door. He followed that up with another successful defence over Kyle Fletcher at All Out.

However, what started as a relatively friendly rivalry with Samoa Joe moved to an intense new level at WrestleDream. At the show, Page beat the veteran to retain the World Championship, but after the match, Joe turned heel with an attack on the champion with the help of The Opps.

Adam Page To Get New Challenger

“Hangman” Adam Page opened the October 25 edition of Collision by taking aim at Samoa Joe. Page promised that he’ll do far more than embarrass Joe; he’s going to ruin his life.

Later in the show, it was confirmed that Joe has the chance to get another crack at Page and the World Championship, but he’s going to have to earn it. On Dynamite, Joe will take on Bobby Lashley, Hook, and Ricochet for the right to meet Page at Full Gear.

Elsewhere on the show, former WWE Superstar Nixon Newell made her on-screen AEW debut alongside Miranda Alize. Newell was released for a second time by WWE in November 2024.
