The Rattlesnake and The Brahma Bull brawled for most of the late 1990s and early 2000s before Austin was forced to retire in 2003, aged only 39.

Nevertheless, he has continued to make sporadic appearances, creating new memories for fans.

Fightful Select recently reported hearing from sources that Stone Cold Steve Austin might have one last match in him. It also detailed the Hall of Famer’s interest in wrestling, given the circumstances were right.

Previously, WWE planned to feature the six-time champion in a match against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39, but that did not transpire.

If Austin does indeed step into the squared circle one last time, a lot of names backstage would be itching to throw their names into the hat.

Rikishi Pitches Stone Cold Steve Austin Vs. The Rock

Rumors about Stone Cold Steve Austin’s return have hyped up Rikishi, too.

During a recent episode of his Rikishi Fatu Off The Top podcast, the former world tag team champion pitched a match for Austin against his old nemesis, The Rock.

Why don’t we just book the GOAT versus the GOAT? You know, if you book Rock… and, you know, they had Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier back in the day? When we talk about wrestling, let’s talk Stone Cold coming back and let’s book him against the Rock.
