Steve Austin Fuels WWE Comeback Rumours With New Video
WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin has done nothing to quash rumours of a comeback to the ring with a new video.
In early 2022, rumours began to swirl that something that was thought to be unthinkable for many years was about to happen – Stone Cold Steve Austin was going to wrestle one more time.
The last time Austin had competed in the ring was way back in 2003 at WrestleMania 19 when he completed his trilogy of WrestleMania matches against his long-time rival, The Rock. Nineteen years later, Austin was set to appear on The Kevin Owens Show at WrestleMania 38 but both men had other ideas.
With Owens and Austin in the ring, the former Universal Champion couldn’t help himself as he challenged Steve Austin to an apparently impromptu match. The Texas Rattlesnake wasn’t going to refuse in his home state of Texas and the two men collided in a fun brawl which Austin ultimately won.
With WrestleMania 39 emanating over two nights from the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California in April 2023, rumours persist that Austin could be returning once again.
Austin has taken to social media to post a new workout video in which he looks to be in phenomenal shape which will only fuel rumours that he has plans to compete one more time.
Steve Austin isn’t the only wrestling legend rumoured to be taking part in WrestleMania 39 with The Rock and John Cena also much discussed for the show.
