Stephanie McMahon Undergoes Ankle Surgery
Stephanie McMahon has revealed on social media that she recently underwent an operation on her ankle.
It’s been a very interesting first two weeks of 2023 for the now-former WWE Chairwoman and Co-CEO Stephanie McMahon. After spending over 20 years as part of WWE in many different roles, Stephanie McMahon resigned from WWE on January 10th.
In May 2022, Stephanie announced she was taking a leave of absence to spend more time with her family. However, she was brought back a month later when her father Vince McMahon was investigated for repeated “hush money payments” to multiple women over the last 20 years. Vince retired in July 2022, but now he’s back.
Over the last week, Vince McMahon has re-inserted himself in WWE as the Executive Chairman with the intent to sell the company ahead of their next media rights deal. That essentially forced Stephanie McMahon out of the company. Whether she wanted to move on or she is angry about her father forcing her out is unknown at this time.
It has been a busy week for Stephanie McMahon as she noted on Twitter on Friday while informing the public that she underwent ankle surgery. Stephanie also thanked her husband Paul “Triple H” Levesque for heling her as well as the doctors that helped her.
“Busy week! Thank you Dr. Waldrop, @AndrewsSportMed and the Orthopaedic Center Staff for fixing my ankle! And to Kevin Wilk @ChampionSportsM for already getting me started on rehab! (And of course to my amazing caregiver @TripleH ❤️) #RoadtoRecovery”

Stephanie McMahon did not specify what the surgery was for, how long she’ll be off her feet and what the recovery time is. The @AndrewSportsMed that Stephanie tagged is based in Birmingham, Alabama, which is where most WWE surgeries take place. Stephanie isn’t working for WWE at the moment, but she is still a stockholder.
Everybody here at TJRWrestling hopes she feels better soon!
