Stephanie McMahon Comments On WWE Investigation

Stephanie McMahon has commented on the ongoing investigation into her father Vince McMahon for the first time since becoming interim WWE Chairwoman and CEO.

Vince McMahon is under investigation by WWE’s Board of Directors amid accusations he paid a former employee $3 million after allegedly having an affair with her.

This led to further historical payments and non-disclosure agreements being unearthed with Vince McMahon and WWE’s Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis being accused by several former female WWE employees of misconduct.

Vince McMahon has stepped back from his dual role as WWE’s Chairman and CEO with Stephanie McMahon taking over on an interim basis. Despite that, Vince McMahon has appeared on both Raw and SmackDown and retains overall control of WWE’s creative direction for the time being.

Mike Johnson of PWinsider has now reported that Stephanie McMahon has had to address the investigation into her father at what was described as an “all hands on deck” company-wide meeting. The former company Chief Brand Officer told the meeting that she loved both her father and the company and would be doing all she can for WWE in her new role.

Stephanie McMahon is also said to now be attending all meetings that were previously attended by her father.
