The Stark Difference Between Vince McMahon & Tony Khan
One WWE Hall of Famer has explained the biggest difference between former WWE chief Vince McMahon and AEW boss Tony Khan.
In many ways, Vince McMahon and Tony Khan could not appear to be more different. But both men capitalised on their family success to head up wrestling promotions that have changed the industry, so they have at least that in common.
Tony Khan is frequently praised by his AEW stars publicly, while Vince McMahon was forced to leave WWE after a lawsuit was filed against him, accusing him of serious sexual abuse by a former company employee.
But when it comes to their style of management, what’s the biggest difference?
Vince McMahon Delegates More Than Tony Khan?
Speaking in an interview with Games Hub Dot Com, Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts explained what he saw as the biggest differences between McMahon and Khan:
Well, I think Khan has it in the way he treats talent. Vince was a great delegator. He would come up with the idea or use somebody else’s idea and spread it around to where everybody could work on it.
Tony Khan doesn’t do that. He wants us to be all hands on him doing it. And a lot of times things get missed, no way one man came up with this stuff 24/7, seven days a week. You know, how many shows are they doing now? You know, that’s a lot of TV time.
It was recently revealed that Tony Khan stepped in to help Eddie Kingston during his long injury layoff from AEW. Kingston will return to the ring at All Out, where he faces Big Bill.
