Potential Spoilers For WWE Monday Night Raw 30th Anniversary
The 30th Anniversary of WWE Monday Night Raw takes place this evening and there are some potential spoilers out about what the company has planned.
Tonight’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw takes place in Philadelphia with two title matches set to take place. Austin Theory will defend the US Title against Bobby Lashley while The Usos will also defend the Raw Tag Team Titles against The Judgment Day.
A Steel Cage Match will also take place on Raw when Becky Lynch faces her rival Bayley.
There is also a “Trial of Sami Zayn” segment planned featuring The Bloodline, which has replaced the “Acknowledgement Ceremony” that was originally scheduled for the show.
As for what else WWE has planned for Raw, the potential spoilers below are from Fightful Select:
* Several wrestlers/talent were contacted about appearing at Raw 30, but they couldn’t make it. One wrestler who posted about it publicly was Tatanka, who noted he can’t make it.
* One of the legends advertised for the show is Kurt Angle. Apparently, there’s a plan for Angle to be a special guest referee in a match on Raw.
* While he hasn’t been advertised for Raw, there is hope that Brock Lesnar will be on Raw. Lesnar has been advertised for the Royal Rumble event itself.
* Even though WWE posted a graphic of The Undertaker in some of his non-traditional gear, Fightful reports that The Undertaker’s traditional gear has been sent to Raw in Philly. It was also noted that there were pitches for The Undertaker to be involved in a Bray Wyatt/LA Knight segment. Wyatt and Knight have a Pitch Black Match against eachother at the Royal Rumble this Saturday.
* There is a poker tournament planned for the show. They did one of those on Raw recently hosted by JBL and have done it during past reunion shows as well. The Million Dollar Belt will also be there and likely be used for the poker tournament. With Ted Dibiase on hand, that’s not a surprise.
* It was also mentioned that since Ron Simmons is on the show, there are plans to have an APA reunion with him and JBL, who manages Baron Corbin on Raw these days.
We will have a full “TJR Raw Deal” review of WWE Monday Night Raw later tonight on TJRWrestling.
