Spoiler For The Final Edition Of AEW Rampage On December 27
In New York, New York it was more a case of “and now the end is near” for Rampage as AEW’s third show taped its last episode.
Tony Khan has explained why he used Frank Sinatra music at ROH Final Battle and now the AEW boss signalled the end for Rampage at a special taping held at Hammerstein Ballroom on December 22.
AEW taped Dynamite on 34th Street to air on Christmas Day as well as Rampage on December 27th which looks to be the final edition of the Friday night show. Tony Khan noted to fans in attendance that it was the final Rampage “for the foreseeable future” meaning that he might have plans to revive it in the future if the opportunity ever arises.

- ROH Champion Chris Jericho defeated Anthony Bowens. At one point, Bryan Keith and Max Caster fought for the ROH title belt. Keith let go and it accidentally struck Bowens, leading to Jericho’s win.
- AEW Tag Team Champions Private Party defeated Leo Sparrow and Alec Quest in a non-title match. Lio Rush & Action Andretti came out and brawled with the champions. Top Flight then got involved, leading to all three teams being pulled apart by security.
- Thunder Rosa defeated Leila Grey by submission.
- HOOK defeated Nick Wayne (with Christian Cage, Mother Wayne & Kip Sabian). Katsuyori Shibata came out and ran off the rest of the Patriarchy, leading to HOOK scoring the win via submission.
Christian Cage’s involvement in the show’s main event bookends Rampage’s history well as Christian Cage defeated Kenny Omega for the TNA World Title in Rampage’s first-ever match back in August 2021.
