Smoking With Snoop Dogg Was Too Much For WWE Hall Of Famer To Turn Down

Snoop Dogg helped save the show on night two of WrestleMania 39 in his role as the show’s Dogg Father and now a WWE Hall of Famer has explained how a big fine from WWE was not enough to stop them from smoking weed with the rap legend.

At WrestleMania 39, Snoop Dogg surprised The Miz in the worst way when he made a match between the former WWE Champion and Pat McAfee on night one. The following night the Gin ‘n’ Juice rapper had to step in for Shane McMahon who made his surprise return to WWE to take on The Miz and almost instantly tore his quad.

After much scrabbling at ringside, Snoop Dogg got the word to drop The Miz with two big punches before dropping a People’s Elbow for probably the most unlikely win in WrestleMania history.

Speaking on the Road Trip After Hours podcast, Teddy Long told the story of the time he got to blaze one up with the Dogg Father and says a WWE fine was not enough to stop that from happening:

“We did a pay-per-view in Orlando, Florida and Snoop was there. That was the time that if you smoke weed in WWE, you have to pay a fine if they caught you. At the time, the fine was like a thousand dollars. But I had a chance to go and smoke with Snoop.

“How many guys gonna say they had a chance to sit down and smoke with Snoop? I couldn’t afford that but I just said to myself, ‘They caught me, they get me, I’ll just go and pay the thousand or whatever.’ But you can’t turn the opportunity down not to smoke with Snoop Dogg and I got a picture of that right now.”
