Shocking Claim Made About Jade Cargill After WWE Title Win
Jade Cargill becoming the Women’s WWE Champion was welcomed by many fans.
At Saturday Night’s Main Event XLI, she defeated Tiffany Stratton in a squash match to become a world champion for the first time. It was Stratton’s only second loss in 2025.
A couple of weeks ago, Cargill turned heel by attacking Stratton after the latter’s victory over Kianna James in a singles match.
While fans have been excited for WWE pushing Jade Cargill, not everyone is happy about it.
A retired wrestler believes that Cargill is not ready to lead the locker room, and so, the promotion should not have put the title on her.
While speaking on his Keepin’ It 100 Official podcast, Konnan said:
She looks like a star but she’s not championship material yet. She needs to be able to lead people…It’s like when Liv Morgan first got the championship, I was burying them, ‘She’s too green, why did they give it to her, she’s not ready,’ then the second time they gave it to her, she was ready. She can lead people in a match, she cuts good promos…You don’t just give it to somebody because they’re over. [1:52 onwards]
