Sheamus Hits Back At Body Shaming Comments, Reveals Original Return Plans

Sheamus WWE Raw

Sheamus has a message for fans after being on the receiving end of criticism about his appearance.

On the April 15th episode of Raw, Sheamus returned to the ring with a win over Ivar. The match was the Irish star’s first since being defeated by Adam Copeland back in August 2023. During his absence, Sheamus dealt with a serious injury and admitted he even contemplated retirement.

Following his comeback, the star was the subject of a series of harsh jabs on social media mocking his appearance, but it seems he won’t be letting the comments get to him.

In a new post on social media, the former World Champion took another swipe at the internet trolls, before revealing he wasn’t originally planned to return this early.

Ok Ok take your best shots.. Whalemus, Too Many Pies, etc.. and then weโ€™re done with the photoshopping & shaming. I was aiming for the Draft & got an early call-up. My bad. On me. Been sleeping in the gym ever since SO watch this space ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿป i appreciate the love too #Sheamoose

It’s been announced that the WWE Draft will take place on April 26th and April 29th.

Sheamus Sends Warning To WWE Roster

Following his match on Raw, Sheamus sent a message to the entire WWE roster while reflecting on his journey back to the ring.

It’s believed that the star’s WWE contract expires in 2024, and there’s been no word on a new deal being agreed. Becky Lynch, Seth Rollins, Natalya, and Drew McIntyre could also all become free agents in the coming months.
