Sheamus Back On WWE TV After 3 Month Absence
Sheamus has further upset the issues between one WWE tag team as he made his return to TV for the first time since the Royal Rumble.
After suffering a rib injury at Survivor Series, Sheamus was back in the fold in early January via a typically hard-hitting win over Ludwig Kaiser on Raw. He followed that up with a defeat to Bron Breakker at Saturday Night’s Main Event before entering the men’s Royal Rumble match on February 1.
However, the former World Heavyweight Champion has been missing from TV since the Rumble, and it seems he wasn’t too happy about it as he shared a photo of himself on social media laying the smackdown on Chad Gable with the caption “Who misses Banger after Banger? #bringbackthefella.“
And now the fella is well and truly back.
Sheamus Beats Austin Theory On WWE Return
On the May 5 edition of Raw, Grayson Waller found out his opponent from Raw General Manager Adam Pearce after asking for a singles match the prior week. However, once Waller found out the news, he was less enthused and instead offered up the match to his tag team partner, Austin Theory. But Theory wasn’t let in on the secret.
When Austin Theory found out his opponent was a returning Sheamus, he was less than thrilled with his tag team partner. Sheamus finished Theory off with a Brogue Kick to win his first singles match on WWE television in four months.
