Seth Rollins Announced For WWE Raw Tag Team Match

Seth Rollins and his tag team partner will be looking for revenge against The Judgment Day in a big match announced for WWE Monday Night Raw.

The WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins (the man with a “Freakin” middle name) has had his hands full with The Judgment Day over the last few months.

At Money in the Bank earlier this month, Seth Rollins beat Finn Balor to keep the World Heavyweight Title. Instead of moving on to somebody, Balor has remained a thorn in Seth’s side and they are set for a championship rematch at SummerSlam on August 5th as well.

There is also Damian Priest of The Judgment Day, who won the Money in the Bank briefcase. Priest has teased cashing in the briefcase on Rollins multiple times but has yet to have an official cash-in attempt.

This past Monday on Raw, Seth Rollins and Finn Balor had a contract signing for their SummerSlam match in the main event. It didn’t go well for Balor because The Judgment Day attacked. Rollins was overwhelmed by The Judgment Day foursome of Balor, Priest, Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio. Sami Zayn tried to help Rollins, but he was overmatched as well. Raw ended with The Judgment Day standing tall over a fallen World Champion Rollins.

Due to what happened on Raw, WWE announced on their website that Seth Rollins will team up with Sami Zayn against The Judgment Day’s Damian Priest & Dominik Mysterio, the NXT North American Champion.

Why Is Seth Rollins Teaming With Sami Zayn?

Sami Zayn is one half of the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions along with Kevin Owens. Unfortunately for Sami, his tag team partner Owens was taken out by The Judgment Day this past Monday on Raw. That attack on Owens happened during Zayn’s match against Dominik Mysterio, who picked up the cheap win.

The good news is that while Kevin Owens is dealing with a legitimate rib injury, the expectation is that he won’t be out for that long.
