Seth Rollins’ WWE In-Ring Return Confirmed
Seth Rollins is set to begin his warm-up for Bronson Reed.
Back in early August, Seth Rollins was left destroyed by Bronson Reed who hit him with six consecutive Tsunami splashes. Following the assault, it was reported that Rollins was banged up and needed a break, although he could have wrestled if required.
With the former World Heavyweight Champion out of action, Reed quickly established himself as the most dominant star on the red brand while starting a rivalry with Braun Strowman.
Rollins wouldn’t return to Raw until September 30th when he rushed the ring and hit Reed with a Curb Stomp on the steel steps to allow Strowman to win a Last Monster Standing Match. In the weeks that followed, Rollins said he was back to destroy Reed, while General Manager Adam Pearce has been doing the groundwork for a match between the pair.
Seth Rollins To Wrestle At SmackDown Taping
While a match with Bronson Reed appears to be his final destination, Rollins is set to shake off the ring rust against Dominik Mysterio. The match is set to take place at the SmackDown taping at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on October 25th.
Following the announcement, Rollins shared the graphic on his Instagram stories, writing: “First match back. Let’s ride.”
Although the match is taking place at a SmackDown taping, it’s unlikely it will be shown on television as Rollins and Mysterio are both drafted to Raw.
