Seth Rollins Names His Pro Wrestling Mount Rushmore Twice
Seth Rollins doesn’t just have one Mount Rushmore of pro wrestling; he has two.
On a recent episode of the Pat McAfee Show, Rollins was asked that popular question: who is one his Mount Rushmore of pro wrestling.
But when answering, Seth Rollins made it clear that he has two sets of wrestlers that belong on a theoretical Mount Rushmore of wrestling: one for in-ring and one for draws.
Rollins’ list of the four biggest draws in wrestling history includes John Cena, The Rock, ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin, and Hulk Hogan.
As for who sees as the best in-ring athletes, Seth Rollins picked Shawn Michaels, Eddy Guerrero, Bret ‘the Hitman’ Hart, and ‘American Dragon’ Bryan Danielson.
“The gate one is Cena, Rock, Austin, Hogan. That’s the money gate. The in-ring, it gets crazy. You’ve probably got Shawn. I go Eddie Guerrero. Bret The Hitman Hart…..Man, I’m going to throw out a wild one for you guys because he’s currently performing right now, but the ‘American Dragon’ Bryan Danielson.
Daniel Bryan…his body of work, I think, when it’s all said and done will stack up with those guys. I hope to be in the conversation one day. Maybe in the conversation or a whisper on the side, something like that, but I think that’s it for me. Those are my two Mount Rushmore’s.”
It shouldn’t surprise anyone that at least one of Seth Rollins’ lists here includes John Cena as he recently described Cena as “the GOAT”.
