Seth Rollins Invites Travis Kelce & Taylor Swift To WrestleMania 40
Seth Rollins has a great idea involving Super Bowl champion Travis Kelce and his Grammy Award-winning girlfriend Taylor Swift going to WrestleMania 40.
The NFL’s 58th Super Bowl is in the books with the Kansas City Chiefs winning their third Super Bowl trophy in the last five years (plus back-to-back wins). The Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in a game that went into Overtime and ended when the Super Bowl MVP threw a game-winning touchdown pass to Mecole Hardman for the win.
Plenty of celebrities attended the Super Bowl including many professional wrestlers, but perhaps the biggest name was music superstar, multi-time Grammy Award Winner Taylor Swift, who is dating Travis Kelce of the Chiefs. Swift attended many Chiefs games throughout the season, so it was no surprise that she was there to support the future Hall of Famer Kelce.
As the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion, NFL superfan Seth Rollins did a lot of media appearances before the big game.
While talking to Sports Illustrated, Rollins spoke about Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift, Travis’ NFL brother Jason Kelce of the Philadelphia Eagles and also George Kittle of the San Francisco 49ers, who appeared at WrestleMania 39 to drop The Miz with a clothesline.
“I would extend an invitation to both George and Travis. We’re in Philly, his brother [Jason Kelce] is there. We can have both of the Kelces there, why not? Let’s have a party. Bring your girl. Bring all the Swifties. Let’s go. I love everybody. Let’s party. George, he’s coming to WrestleMania anyway.”
“He was at WrestleMania last year, he comes to all the WrestleManias, he’s coming anyway. I’d love to have the Kelces there. All of them. Bring the whole crew.”
Fans of the NFL know that Travis Kelce is likely a wrestling fan since he did a Rock-like promo in 2023 and Kelce has used the word “jabronI” which was created by WWE Hall of Famer The Iron Sheik and later popularized by The Rock on WWE TV.
Seth Rollins Appears In WrestleMania 40 Teaser Trailer
Also on Super Bowl Sunday, WWE released a WrestleMania teaser trailer video featuring the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, WWE legend The Rock, Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes and the World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins.
Based on the video that features a staredown between the four stars, it has led to some people guessing that Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes could team up at WrestleMania 40 on Night 1 to face The Rock & Roman Reigns in a tag team match. Nothing has been confirmed yet, but it certainly could happen.
