Seth Rollins Talks Building Legacies At WrestleMania

Seth Rollins believes it “doesn’t get any bigger” than building a legacy by competing at WrestleMania.

Ahead of this weekend’s Superbowl LVII, the world’s media have been focusing attention on Phoenix, Arizona, a city Seth Rollins knows well after winning the 2019 Men’s Royal Rumble inside Chase Field.

Speaking with Windy City Gridiron to share his thoughts on NFL along with his love of the Chicago Bears, Rollins feels that WrestleMania offers WWE Superstars the same opportunity to those playing in the NFL showpiece to create a name for themselves.

“Yeah, there’s nothing like it. For myself, someone who’s been in WWE for ten years now, I’ve been able to wrestle all over the world in front of different crowds in different stadiums and you know, you just get desensitized to it a little bit.

But WrestleMania is the one thing, the one time of the year where the nerves never wear off and you live for that moment. You build your legacies at WrestleMania. In the post season of the NFL, that’s where quarterbacks build their legacies in big games. For us in WWE, that’s where you create your legacy. It doesn’t get any bigger. This one is in Hollywood, all eyes are gonna be on us for two nights in April. It’s gonna be special.”

Rollins shared his favorite WrestleMania moment and is excited by the prospect of performing at this years event taking place under the lights of Hollywood.

It is not yet known who Seth Rollins will face as he is set to battle inside the Elimination Chamber for the United States Championship, however it appears that a social media sensation could be the destination on Rollins’ Road to WrestleMania.

Last year Seth Rollins lost to the returning Cody Rhodes, setting up a long term feud between the pair before The American Nightmare was forced to go under surgery to repair a torn pectoral.

Seth Rollins was involved in one of the most popular WrestleMania moments when he became WWE World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania 31, cashing in his Money In The Bank briefcase during that years main event between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns.
