Seth Rollins Takes Fresh Shot At The Rock
Seth Rollins continues to take jabs at The Rock.
On night one of WrestleMania 40 Seth Rollins will team with Cody Rhodes to take on The Rock and Roman Reigns. If Rollins and Rhodes win, The Bloodline will be banned from ringside when the American Nightmare challenges Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title the following night. However, if Rock and Reigns win, the match will be contested under ‘Bloodline rules.’
In the weeks since the WWE legend’s return to the company, Seth Rollins has described The Rock’s comeback as “bullsh*t” among other things, while throwing his support behind Rhodes.
Following recent comments from The Rock claiming he made wrestling cool again, Rollins called the star out again at a live event in Rockford, Illinois. Clips from the show have since emerged on social media.
“The last few weeks the biggest star in Hollywood has returned to the WWE. And man, he’s said a lot of really dumb sh*t.”
After apologising for his language. Rollins called out The Rock for claiming he made wrestling cool again.
“We got to be real, right? That’s The Rock’s thing. We got to be real. There are no standards and practices here in Rockford. So you wanna know what’s real? All the dumb sh*t The Rock’s been saying over the last month, the worst thing that I’ve heard is he is taking credit for making professional wrestling cool.”
Seth Rollins Pays Heartfelt Tribute To Bray Wyatt
24 hours earlier at an event in Springfield, Illinois, Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes took part in an emotional tribute to Bray Wyatt.
After their match the pair pointed out the number of “fireflies” in the crowd before leading fans in a rendition of “He’s Got The Whole World In His Hands” — the song forever associated with Wyatt.
The tribute came just days after it was announced that a new Bray Wyatt documentary will premiere on April 1st.
The film features a never-before-seen look into the creative powerhouse that crafted the Bray Wyatt character with contributions from John Cena, Becky Lynch, Triple H, Hulk Hogan, and Bray’s brother Taylor Rotunda (Bo Dallas).
The project will be narrated by WWE legend The Undertaker.
