Seth Rollins Suffers Worrying Injury On WWE Raw

Seth Rollins put his World Heavyweight Championship on the line on WWE Raw and despite winning, the bout could have cost Rollins a whole lot more.

Famously Jinder Mahal got his shot at the World Heavyweight Championship on Raw but his losing streak continued with Seth Rollins retaining his championship but things were not straightforward for Rollins.

PWTorch reported that Rollins suffered a legitimate injury in the match with his left leg worse for wear. Sources noted that Rollins was helped in the back but was able to walk on his own albeit with a definite limp.

It is believed Seth Rollins hurt himself after a dive to the outside and could have done more damage by hitting Mahal with a Pedigree and a Stomp to ultimately win the match.

Is Seth Rollins A Doubt For WWE WrestleMania?

Discussing the issue on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Rollins is to undergo an MRI as a result of the injury as doctors seek to find out more:

I just know he’s getting an MRI and then we’ll know. I was told it could be something minor, it could be something worse, we won’t know until the MRI result comes back.

CM Punk has had Seth Rollins in his sights should Punk win the men’s Royal Rumble and storylines seemed to be playing out that those two stars would have a huge match at WrestleMania. CM Punk will come face-to-face with Cody Rhodes on the 22nd of January edition of Raw.
