Seth Rollins Talks Ric Flair & Becky Lynch – “The Beef Was Never On My Wife’s Side”
Seth Rollins has discussed the issues between Ric Flair and Becky Lynch and says any beef between the two never came from his wife’s side.
The issues between Becky Lynch and Ric Flair stretch back years now with Flair taking issue with WWE’s trademark assertions that Lynch was indeed ‘The Man.’ Things seemed to be exacerbated when Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair had their very public issues toward the end of 2021.
Ric Flair also recently discussed his interaction – or lack thereof – with Lynch’s husband Seth Rollins, with Rollins said to have walked right by The Nature Boy, ignoring him. While Flair has also dished out, saying that he didn’t “acknowledge” Lynch early in January 2023.
At Raw’s 30th anniversary, all three were backstage for the landmark show and thankfully Flair sought out Lynch and Rollins to apologise and mend fences.
Speaking on The Pat McAfee Show, Seth Rollins discussed the ending of hostilities and says its good for him to be able to respect Ric Flair again:
“I’ll put it out there right now, beef squashed between Ric Flair and Becky Lynch. To be fair, the beef was never on my wife’s side, she never had beef with Ric. Ric had beef with her.”
“He was man enough to come up and apologize to myself and to her and I thought that was awesome because I love Ric and I want to have a ton of respect for him and the fact that he was able to put his ego aside, bygones be bygones, we had a good moment at Raw XXX and he is The Nature Boy, one of the greatest of all time, on the Mount Rushmore on any wrestling list of all time.”
