Seth Rollins’ Next Challenger Could Be 7-Time WWE Champion

Seth Rollins WWE

Seth Rollins had a memorable outing at WWE Crown Jewel.

The World Heavyweight Champion finally secured a win over Cody Rhodes after suffering three losses in as many previous matches between them. He also became the Men’s Crown Jewel Champion in the process.

Now that their rivalry is seemingly done and dusted for the time being, what is next for Rollins? Does the 39-year-old get back with The Vision and prepare for Survivor Series: WarGames, or continue testing the waters with his singles run?

Sam Roberts of NotSam Wrestling predicted that The Visionary could find an interesting challenger in a 7-time WWE Champion.

I think AJ Styles is at a point now where it’s like…it’s time to really step up, and I could see AJ Styles coming off of this match and maybe right away, but maybe in time being in a position where he has some kind of a rivalry with Seth Rollins. This match can create a nice wave that can put AJ back into a top-tier spot on his way out the door. [7:17 onwards]

Meanwhile, AJ Styles lost to John Cena, but not before putting on a massive show for the audience in the RAC Arena in Perth and viewers worldwide.

Seth Rollins Praises A Former Rival

All-in-all, Crown Jewel was an excellent event for The Vision as far as rewards are concerned.

Not only did Seth Rollins secure the top honors, but his stablemate and former rival, Bronson Reed, upset Roman Reigns in their Australian Street Fight match.

Reed gained a rare pinfall victory over The Original Tribal Chief after renewing their rivalry over the last few weeks.

During the post-show of the premium live event, Seth Rollins spoke highly of ‘Auszilla’ and explained why he recruited him into The Vision.

Bronson Reed is who I thought he was. There is a reason I recruited him into The Vision. He put me out. Six Tsunamis. Put me on the shelf. I saw in him not just the ability but the killer instinct. He wanted to get to the next level. He targeted me. As much as we went to war. I respect that. Tonight, what he did to Roman Reigns, pinning his shoulders to the mat.

There are not many people who could say they pinned Roman Reigns. I’m one of them, and now, Bronson Reed is another, and I’m so proud of him and this is what The Vision is for—to take the future of this company and give it the pedestal it deserves.
