Seth Rollins Names WWE Legend Who May Compare To Muhammad Ali

Seth Rollins poses on WWE Raw

Seth Rollins is on an injury hiatus.

The Visionary has been missing in action since the Saturday Night’s Main Event XL match against LA Knight.

During the match, an awkward landing following a moonsault caused Rollins’ right leg to buckle under his weight. It was reported that the former world champion will be out for a few months.

Nevertheless, Rollins is not one to hole himself up and is on the move between intervals.

Post-SNME, he guest-hosted The Rich Eisen Show. In a dedicated segment, he was asked to compare the popularity of WWE stars with sports icons across various sports.

At one point in the game, he was asked to name the WWE star equivalent to boxing great Muhammad Ali. Seth Rollins found it a challenge to answer, but named John Cena as that person.

The closest I would say is maybe John Cena … I think the impact that John has had on individuals around the world via his Make-A-Wish campaign and the diligence that he put into making a difference in people’s lives in that way. He prioritized that over anything. [H/T: WrestlingInc.com]

MJF Shows Respect For Seth Rollins’ Talent

MJF is currently on a press tour to promote Happy Gilmore 2, starring Adam Sandler.

The movie also stars WWE’s Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch and Hall of Famer Nikki Bella.

During a recent Busted Open Radio podcast, Maxwell showed respect for Seth Rollins’ talent.

I get along with Seth…Seth Rollins is a freak of nature. He’s going to go down as one of the greatest faces in the history of that company.

The same way I’m going to go down as one of the biggest faces in the history of my company. When you think of these promotions, when you think of WWE, you think Seth. When you think of AEW, you think me. I find him to be extraordinarily talented. I feel horrible about his knee. It sucks.

Theories are floating that Seth Rollins’ injury could be a work, casting a shadow on his actual in-ring status.
